We're ideamakers

Strange Duck Media is a small, creative, friendly and funny design and media studio in Toronto, Ontario St. John's, Newfoundland. Yes - we couldn't resist the call of the puffins and were lured to this incredibly artsy town.

We love coming up with ideas - the kind that set you apart from the crowd. Best of all, we talk plain English.

We're on TV

Moving Stories is a television series about books and film and where the twain shall meet.

Head quack Irene Duma wrote and directed a few short films that are featured in the episode, and was interviewed on how to adapt video for mobile apps.

She also wrote the funny ad featuring series host Paul Quarrington.

Proud Sponsor of "Strange Breakfasts":

We were approached by the grassroots arts barbarians, a group of esteemed writers and artists concerned with Harper's budget cuts to the arts and their effect to our culture. Strange Breakfasts is the campaign we worked on with them to help raise money for the Liberal Party of Canada.

We created a small website and mailable PDF for the cause, and with the help of the song "There's Something wrong" by Ottawa band Brad Sucks, edited a funny little soundtrack for the initiative.

Please check out the Strange Breakfasts web site, read the great articles by Margaret Atwood and Susan Swan, and donate if you can.

Don't forget to download a PDF invite and pass the message on to your friends.
